This is Windows Scheduler 3.0, a program that allows you to run another application at a pre-set time from within the Microsoft Windows Environment. The primary change between this and version 2.0 is that this version is created with the new Visual Basic 3.0, which corrects some general Visual Basic Application problems and generally allows faster execution times. You will need a copy of the new Visual Basic Runtime Library (VBRUN300.DLL). That file is not included in this distribution since many of you will already have it and it would increase the download time for no reason. If you do not have VBRUN300.DLL, you can get it over in the MSBASIC Forum on CompuServe. You can probably also find it on most free, local BBS and save yourself the download costs. Scheduler is shareware. The registration fee is $7.95. There are no nag screens or other registration reminders. I don't like them, so I try to not put them in my applications. Registration of shareware does tend to encourage myself and others to write shareware programs and freely distribute them and keeps a good source of inexpensive utilities available for your use. So please register if you do use Scheduler. For those of you who registered version 1 and 2, here is version 3 with my thanks. No further registration is required. With this version I have made it much easier to register by listing the program in the CompuServe Shareware Registration area (GO SWREG). The program number is 1115. To register by mail send the registration fee to: Tim Hatton 4173 Navajo Trail Jamestown, Ohio 45335 I invite any questions or comments. You can always reach me via E-Mail at the address listed in the About box. I can also be found on the Office Automation Forum (with a copy of this and other programs) so you can message me there. Try the paperless office section. Thanks Tim Hatton
